Refund policy

Every LayerN piece is inspected before it leaves our studio. If something is not right when it arrives, we will make it right.

Damaged or Defective Items

We meticulously pack every piece to survive the journey. However, if a courier mishandles your order or a defect slips past our quality check, we will replace it completely free of charge.

  • Contact us at hello@layern.in within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Include your order number, clear photos of the product, and a continuous, unedited unboxing video. An unboxing video is strictly mandatory to process a replacement (as photos can now be easily edited with AI).
  • Once verified, we will instantly put a brand-new replacement into production at zero cost to you.

Returns

Every LayerN piece is printed specifically for you at the time of your order. To maintain our sustainable, zero-waste manufacturing model, we do not accept returns for a change of mind or buyer's remorse. Returns are strictly authorized only in the rare event that you received the incorrect item.

Refunds

If a refund is exceptionally approved (such as an inability to fulfill a replacement for a damaged or incorrect order), we will process it immediately. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Standard made-to-order pieces (change of mind/buyer's remorse).
  • Items damaged after delivery due to customer mishandling or drops.
  • Orders reported as damaged without a continuous unboxing video.
  • Orders cancelled after machine production has already begun (cancellations are only accepted within 4 hours of placing the order).
  • Customized, personalized, or bulk event orders.

Exchanges

Because we do not stockpile inventory on warehouse shelves, we cannot offer direct exchanges if you decide you want a different design. Every piece requires dedicated machine time to create specifically for you.
